Our Story

Fairview Christian Congregation (FCC) through long years of earnest prayers, was founded by Pastor Wilfredo Asumen, after finishing his Bachelor's degree in Philippine Missionary Institute (PMI).  It was established on the rainy season of the year 1990, notwithstanding the inadequate financial and material support.  Pastor Fred (as he was commonly called), first conducts Bible studies in his Aunt's home in Pingkian Village 3 in Quezon City.  He was able to form his first group composed of seven believers and gather for Bible studies every weekend under the shade of trees, as the church building was nonexistent at the time.

By God's enabling grace, after 6 months, one believer offered his home for a regular place of Bible study and worship service.  His home was used for a certain period of time, but eventually, the congregation had to look for another location and place of worship.  The church had to move from place to place in numerous times throughout the years, however, that did not prevent the believers from continuously serving God's purpose.  The time comes, once again by God's wonderful grace, and support from donors and faithful believers, the church managed to purchase a piece of land and started to build a makeshift structure of the church building.  That was after 10 long years of praying and waiting.

Since then, monthly attendance is increasing and the ministry of the Lord is continuously moving and growing.  Many homes are opend for Bible studies and small groups.  Film showing, praise and worship concerts and medical missions were also conducted, through the help and assistance of Christian organizations.

Today, the number of believers are still growing and they are regularly gathering in this place to worship and serve the Lord.
